Pumpkin Cookies 

Happy Fall Yall!!

I hope you have started taking in the new season. My kids have seen so many fall crafts around the house, now they wont stop talking about Halloween! Right now, I'm just taking in everything PUMPKIN !

Lala and I made pumpkin cookies today, and just wanted to share the recipe we used, along with a few photos!

Items You'll Need:
  • 2.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • .5 teaspoon nutmeg
  • .5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Libby's Pure Pumpkin



How to Make:
  • Mix the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt together.
  • In a separate bowl beat melted butter and sugar together. Then add pumpkin, vanilla and egg
  • Slowly add in the flour mixture, adding a little milk
  • Use tablespoon to put onto the baking sheet
Bake at 330 for about 15 mins. Let cool before adding glaze.

For the Glaze: 
  • Melt a tablespoon of butter. 
  • Add 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar 
  • Let sit

Enjoy with milk or coffee with pumpkin creamer!!
