How to Start Your Business

Image
T.G.I.F!! I hope everyone had a great week! I, surprisingly, am looking forward to a Gig-free weekend, and time spent with my babies! Are you thinking of starting a business? I wanted to share a few quick tips on beginning your next endeavor. This is, by NO means, a business plan! Lol. But this is what I, Breana, did to start MY business…and I’ve shared some links to hopefully guide you along your journey! To start … I was going to ask, “What do you like to do, what are your interests?” But personally, I never visioned myself in the Food & Bev Industry. I made a few drinx a couple years ago (for consumption), and made a joke on Facebook about selling them, but it never clicked that I could really start a whole business behind it. I was comfortable, and not business minded . So  for starters , open up your mind!! The business that you start doesn’t need to be something you’re already good at, because you can learn! I’ve never been a heavy drinker, so when I first hopp

Retirement Party

Hey Guys, Before I begin, I just want to note how much I love what I do ! (More reviews and photos on my website  http://bdrinx.com/  ) My most recent gig took place at a BEAUTIFUL VENUE !! (I'm not going to say where, because ever since I first laid eyes on it, I knew I was going to have my wedding here!) So when I got booked for a gig here, I was stoked to be paid to visit in person! I will say that it's in Houston, though! Very nice part of town. So my gig was this past weekend. For a retirement party, with an apples theme. Very beautifully decorated. The guests were nice and the weather was nice! I always show up to my Gigs super early to set up. Just so happened, I needed to make a store run. Luckily I was set up and made my store run in good time, and was ready to serve guests as soon as they walked in the door. I got booked for this gig at full price, MONTHS in advance. The tips were great, and after cleaning up, the host gave me ANOTHER he

First Day of Fall

FIRST DAY OF FALL!! “Darling, Fall brings change. And like the leaves, It’s only natural we change with it.” Happy Friday Lovlies, I hope you guys have had a great week, as I did! I don’t know about you, but I’m especially excited about Fall being among us!! The kids and I have already been taking advantage of the cooler days we’ve experienced so far, just being outdoors more and enjoying the breeze WHILE IT’S HERE! Personally, the last few months I’ve been working on positively living in the present moment . I can’t express a more perfect time to implement this process into your day-to-day. The weather (hopefully in Texas) is changing, the trees are changing, styles are altering..change right along with the season and put your most recent plans into action! Live in the moment, take in the crisp air while hearing the crackling leaves beneath your shoes.  Autumn and winter are actually my favorite seasons! I’m not really the type to run from cold weather

Hello Good People , and welcome to my website and blog!! I’m very excited to show you guys my newest project. I’ve been working on this for a couple months, and wanted to wait until it was perfect until I launched. I have been updating and tweaking content on a daily, but finally I decided just to get it launched and over with! Lol. Feel free to click through my website and let me know your thoughts on it, BTW. So for those that don’t know me , (or kinda do but still don’t) – my name is Breana. I’m a 20-something year-old bartender and crazy, corporate working mother to 3 even crazier kids . Two boys, and a girl- ages 8, 3, and 7. I know, I know… and yes, I do have my hands full! But they keep me going, and keep me busy , that’s for sure! My “real job” is in the Logistics and Transportation Industry. Talk about literally whispering ‘WTF’ to myself a gazillion times a day. But I love it, and don’t appreciate it enough! Working on that! So.. my blog ! I
